Golden-Zeo
Natural “Demand Release” Fertilizer
A soil conditioner and 100% remineralizer consisting of natural minerals (environmentally friendly materials), that are crushed to approximately medium sand size that does not shrink or degrade over time –(unlike peat or compost)- to provide benefits for long years. It offers the benefit of rapid growth saves water irrigation, and reduces use of artificial fertilizers, prepared from Zeolites Plus Altered Basaltic Volcanic Ash (Palagonite).
Golden-Zeo is derived from basaltic volcanic parent material, The material is mined and processed in Jordan, and During processing, the Zeolite mineral material is purified of any residual sodium and chemically modified to enhance nutrient ion content. It is recovered through environmentally friendly mining without the use of scarce water resources. And these facts are honored by the Organic Materials Research Institute in the US by certifying it as “organic” (OMRI Listed).
Golden-Zeo contains high phillipsite and Chabazite content therefore it has high CEC (Cation Exchange Capacity) and more than other Zeolites as Clinoptilolite, therefore It can absorb water and nutrients, and deliver them upon plant demand.
Golden-Zeo contains high amount of the altered basaltic material (Palagonite), which is a natural source of high concentration of Mg, Fe, Mn, Ca, K and other 70 trace elements.
Therefore, Golden-Zeo does not contains organic or pathogenic matter. Because of its unique molecular structure, which enables Golden-Zeo to retain its nutrient ions in an insoluble but exchangeable form, thereby reducing leaching and denitrification. Golden-Zeo naturally contains essential trace elements and when added to soil, increases the soil’s cationic exchange capacity and improves soil moisture, even in arid conditions.
Golden-Zeo Benefits:
- Replace lost essential elements and micronutrients
- Increase soil Cation exchange capacity (CEC)
- Increase yields by delivering soil nutrients in an insoluble but exchangeable form – controls ammonium supply
- Balance soil pH
- Act as buffer against yield-limiting variations in soil moisture and chemistry
- Improve soil structure and Soil aeration and root development
- Reduce chemical fertilizer requirements
- Reduce irrigation requirements
- Increase aeration and oxygen
- Eliminate root burn
- Are useful in virtually any agricultural or horticultural setting
Golden-Zeo Product Features:
- reduces significantly soluble fertilizers use and prevent them from leaching to the environment; this is due to the binding ability of Zeolites to these fertilizers and storing them for plant use.
- maintain or improve the ability of the root zone to drain, provide aeration and withstand intense traffic
- reduces the stress caused by sodium due to absorption by the system and releasing other nutrients.
- contains a permanent source of minor and trace elements as Mg, K, Ca, Fe, Al, Mn and 70 other trace elements as Cu, Zn Mo, and Ba. Etc.., which are important for healthy plant growth. These elements are tied in the natural Palagonite as non-soluble but available for plant use in a slow-release form, hence these elements will not be leached from soil to the environment.
- gives permanent reddish-brownish soil colors and reduces soil erosion by binding sandy soil from blowing by wind.
- keeps working for a period of up to 10 years Due to its unique composition and formation.
- Natural, environmental friend material, as it is a natural mineral material crushed to approximately medium size. Unlike plant-based amendments like peat or compost, it will not shrink or decompose over time, so Golden-Zeo is a natural, non-toxic Jordanian product.

Further Approved Golden-Zeo Characterization:
- Zeolite in Golden-Zeo:
Golden-Zeo contains more than 50% of Zeolite minerals (Phillipsite and Chabazite), Which have a very high Cationic Exchange Capacity (CEC) of approx:
- 20cmol kg-1 for divalent cations like calcium (Ca) and Magnesium (Mg)
- 93 coml. kg-1 for Potassium (K) and Ammonium (NH4+)
and the Sodium (Na) which is detrimental to plants, is retained very little.
- CEC of Golden-Zeo:
CEC is the ability to hold certain plant nutrients in a plant available form but protect them from Leaching. Golden-Zeo’ CEC is double that of competitive Clinoptilolite-based material. Most Zeolitic products get their CEC from the mineral Clinoptilolite, which in pure form has a CEC of 254cmol. Kg-1. Golden-Zeo’ Zeolite is Phillipsite and Chabazite based, with a much higher CEC of 387 cmol. Kg-1. It also has a high ion selectivity for K+ and NH4+ over Ca+2 and Mg+2.
This selective and very high cation exchange capacity is the basis for increased fertilizer efficiency with K and N fertilizers. Water soluble Potash and Ammonium, even if excesses of Calcium and Magnesium or Sodium are present, allows the use of irrigation waters high in soluble Ca, Mg, and Na, such as water from sewage treatment plants and diluted seawater.
- Palagonite in Golden-Zeo
Golden-Zeo contains 50% of Palagonite (an altered volcanic ash), in a form of crushed material with different grain sizes. It contains Silicates, Calcium, Magnesium, Iron Potassium, Phosphate and no less than 70 TRACE ELEMENTS:
Silicates:
Silicates are necessary in building plant protein and in the synthesis of certain vitamins in plants. Silicates function as a vital element in protecting plants against insects and fungi attack, strengthening qualities and have been found to influence other minerals useful in plant metabolism
Calcium
Plants need Calcium for normal cell division, as a component of cell walls, as a component of the salts inside the cells and as part of the genetic coding material
Magnesium
Magnesium is a key component of the chlorophylls, the green colored cells in the plant. It is therefore vital as Chlorophylls are the cells which perform photosynthesis. Also, plants need Magnesium before they can make up use of Phosphorus and Magnesium also activates different Enzyme systems.
Iron
Iron is a constituent of many compounds in plants that regulates and promotes growth. It is especially important to the function of Chloroplasts, the plant cells that contains Chlorophyll, which are the particle that performs Photosynthesis.
Potassium
Potassium Strengthens the plant Stalks and helps undo the stress induced by excess Nitrogen.
Trace Elements
Volcanic Ash contains over 70 Macro and Micronutrients, such as, Copper, Zinc, Manganese, Molybdenum,…etc.) To replace depleted elements and minerals not supplied by NPK fertilizers. Think of those as Salt and Pepper, without them plant growth would suffer.
Advantages of Using Golden-Zeo in irrigated crops:
The composition of the root zone medium for high-quality, intensively managed turfgrass becomes increasingly important because of concerns for environmental impacts and resource conservation. This is especially true under fully irrigated conditions and /or on highly permeable subsoils.
Once in the root zone, irrigation water should be prevented from draining away but held lightly enough for uptake by plant roots.
Golden-Zeo has a High-Water Holding Capacity, and plant roots can easily access this held water. This results in higher use efficiency, savings in irrigation water, saving time needed for irrigation, and reduced leaching potential. Also, this high-water holding capacity does not come at the cost of slow water infiltration. Unlike clay-based soil amendments, Golden-Zeo has a mostly sandy texture that does not clog pores to impede infiltration, nor does it swell and shrink with wetting and drying. A sand-based root zone mixes for greens containing 20% (By Volume) Golden-Zeo will meet USGA guidelines for root zone mixes.
Recommendations for use of Golden-Zeo:
Due to its Zeolitic-based superb characteristics, which give it distinctive properties, it reflected on the health of the plant, increasing yield and shortening the period of germination, as well as saving cost, and it contributes to the preservation of the resources, especially water.
And for all that it is recommended for use as a soil amendment (especially for poor soils), in nurseries, and for intensive greenhouse cultivation of fruits, vegetables, and flowers.
Also, its applications are particularly successful in intensive lawn cultivation and the creation of green and healthy lawns, where it improves seeds germination percentage and provide a homogeneous dark green lawn, so it provides a successful lawn with no need for re-patching. It also reduces the amounts of water used for irrigation and provides perfect equal distribution of irrigation water in the growing beds.
Sample of Results of experiments & use of Golden-Zeo:
- The results of its use with animal manure in the cultivation of cabbage seeds showed an increase in plant size by 20%than the other plants, and the increase in growth reached between 50% – 100% for the plant.
- The results of adding it to the growing media of the tomato crop showed an increased percentage of total germinated plants, larger leaves with darkened color, and increased stem diameter.
- The results of its use in the growing media of cucumber and onion growth showed a significant difference, as the plant had a dark color and the root system was obviously vigorous compared with control treatments grown.
